Course Dates 

Melbourne Health Training Services offers day and evening courses on weekdays as well as the weekend. On-site training also is offered. Class sizes do not exceed 15 and all resources and training equipment is of the highest standard that meets industry standards. 

Download an application form or ring the office. Applications must be paid for before you will be enrolled in a course. Minimum numbers apply for each course.  Courses can be cancelled with insufficient enrolments.

Grants Available

Melbourne Health Training Services is a Registered Training Organisation which enables students to apply for Government Grants.

Wanting to work with Older Adults? MHTS covers these specific units including Exercises for Older Adults within the Certificate IV in Fitness. COTA and Living Longer Living Stronger™ have allocated funding (up to $500 per student) towards those genuinely wanting to study (either Certificate III or Certificate IV in Fitness) and work with the older population (50+). Applications close 25th January 2007.

Students enrolling into a course who have a Parents Returning to Work Grant identification number are eligible to claim up to $1000 in costs for course fees, books, materials and childcare fees. Students must apply for the grant prior to enrolment. Information regarding eligibility and how to apply for the grant is available on the web site at http://parentsreturntowork.net.au/.
