Our First Aid courses are held at the Bentleigh East training rooms in Melbourne or on site at your premises. The easiest and most fun way to study first aid is to complete the level 2 first aid course online and attend the one day level 2 first aid practical training class. MHTS will come onsite and train your staff in first aid and are the weekend first aid training specialists. CPR, defibrillation, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and sports first aid courses are available. Level 2 First Aid has many equivalent names: Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid, Workplace First Aid.

The  level 2 first aid course meets the duty of care required by work safe and is the minimum standard that satisfies occupational health and safety legislation. There are two ways available to gain the knowledge and skills to pass the competencies of this course. 

 Level 2 First Aid course online - one day practical

The level 2 first aid online course can be studied as a combined home study with one day of practical instruction and assessment. This suits people who are prepared to completed a work book at home and then attend the training day. Organizations can get their staff trained quicker and easier and do not have to have staff away from their work duties for more that one day.

Level 2 First Aid face to face

2 days study face to face in the Melbourne training rooms or onsite. Both classes have a short written assessment. Suits people new to first aid or learners who appreciate full instruction.

Cost  $180 (group concessions available)

All courses cover practical sessions in defibrillation.

Senior First Aid (Level 2) Refresher

Complete the theory work at home with the text book, the schools onsite presentations and a student work book. Submit the workbook for assessment and  attend the practical revision and assessment workshop. These workshops coincide with day one of all the first aid courses. Just ring the office to book into one of the workshops.

Complimentary courses

A range of courses including including RSA, food hygiene, first aid, asthma management, epipen, and certificate 3 and 4 in fitness are available.

Courses commence at 9 am and finish around 4 pm unless otherwise specified.

This is a voluntary co-ordinating body which represents all major groups involved in the teaching and practice of resuscitation.

The Australian Resuscitation Council produces Guidelines to meet its objectives in fostering uniformity and simplicity in resuscitation techniques and terminology. Guidelines are produced after consideration of all available scientific and published material and are only issued after acceptance by all member organisations.
