Senior First Aid (Level 2) MHTS follows Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and includes practical defibrillation training in all its courses. Keep qualified with the best training in Melbourne. Level 2 first aid meets the stand of care required by work safe and is the minimum standard that satisfies occupational health and safety legislation. There are two ways available to gain the knowledge and skills to pass the competencies of this course. Method 1 2 days study face to face with an assessment. Suits people new to first aid or learners who appreciate full instruction. Cost $200 (group concessions available) Method 2 This course can be studied as a combined home study with one day of practical instruction and assessment. This suits people who are prepared to completed a work book at home and then attend the training day. Cost $145 (group concessions available) Topics
All courses cover practical sessions in defibrilation. Senior First Aid (Level 2) Refresher Complete the theory work at home with the text book, the schools onsite presentations and a student work book. Submit the workbook for assessment and attend the practical revision and assessment workshop. These workshops coincide with day one of all the first aid courses. Just ring the office to book into one of the workshops. Cost $125 (group concessions available) Courses commence at 9 am and finish around 4 pm unless otherwise specified. The Australian Resuscitation Council This is a voluntary co-ordinating body which represents all major groups involved in the teaching and practice of resuscitation. The Australian Resuscitation Council produces Guidelines to meet its objectives in fostering uniformity and simplicity in resuscitation techniques and terminology. Guidelines are produced after consideration of all available scientific and published material and are only issued after acceptance by all member organisations.
